This 12-month collaborative project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) combines participatory action research with arts-based methods in the geo-humanities to implement, analyse and assess co-existence and reconciliation efforts in deeply divided societies.

Biography

James Riding is Senior Lecturer in the School of Geography, Politics and Sociology at Newcastle University.

His research advances the geographies of landscape, the geographies of memory, and the geographies of conflict, and shapes the wider interdisciplinary fields of memory studies, peace and conflict studies, and landscape studies.
