The Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 became the peak hot phase of modern hybrid warfare, which combines a whole range of means, starting with military, political and economic, and ending with cybernetic and cultural and humanitarian ones. A modern hybrid war of this scale is unprecedented in the recent history of Europe and requires a theoretical comprehension and development of an adequate state policy.

Biography

Andriy Grytsenko is Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Science (Economics), Professor, Honored Worker of Education, Deputy Director of Research and Head of the Department of Economic Theory of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine.

He graduated from Kharkiv University in 1973, where he conducted scientific and pedagogical activities. Since 1992, Prof. Grytsenko has been the head of the department at this university. From 1995 to 2001, he was the head of the secretariat of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the finance and banking. From 2001 to 2008, he was the Deputy Head of the Apparatus of the National Bank of Ukraine. Since 2002, Prof. Grytsenko has been the Head of the Department of Economic Theory, since 2008, the Deputy Director of Research of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine. He is the Chief editor of the specialized scientific journal “Economic Theory”.

Andriy Grytsenko dedicated his scientific works to institutional problems of socioeconomic development, market transformation, property, value and money, and fiscal and monetary policy. He researched the institutional architecture of economic systems, developed the concept of the inversion type of market transformation, substantiated fundamental provisions of the socio-temporal theory of value, which integrates marginalist and labor theory and developed a strategy for the comprehensive targeting of the stability of the national currency.
